The National Yiddish Theatre - Folkbsiene presents:
“Soul to Soul: Yiddish and African-American Music Meet in a Celebration of Two Cultures” is conceived by Zalmen Mlotek, the internationally recognized authority on Yiddish folk and theatre music, and Folksbiene’s artistic director since 1998.
The concert is headlined by Elmore James, a veteran of five Broadway productions and numerous opera stages around the world, Tony Perry, a commanding young singer-actor, and Magda Fishman, Israeli singing sensation.
