An
"unorthodox" night of Jewish Music and Comedy!
| |
Good For
The Jews
is the duo of David Fagin and Rob Tannenbaum, known for their irreverent
mix of music and comedy. “Their musical interpretations of Jewish
life have been called hilarious from coast to coast,” says Philadelphia
Weekly. “This
is not your father's Judaism,” writes Baltimore Jewish Times. And
Chicago Jewish News says, “They appeal to the same young-adult audience
that eats up Jon Stewart and Sarah Silverman.”

The rock duo What I Like About Jew was a Knitting
Factory favorite, with soldout December holiday shows for the past six
years. Their national tours drew rave reviews and a feature on NPR: "HILARIOUS"
said Baltimore CityGuide. "HILARIOUS" said the Jewish Telegraph.
"HILARIOUS" said the SF Bay Guardian. "HILARIOUS"
said the Village Voice. "HILARIOUS" said Jewlicious.com. You
get the idea.
Now, What I Like About Jew creator Rob Tannenbaum
introduces his new group, Good For the Jews. Tannenbaum, a frequent
VH1 commentator and creator of that network's So Jewtastica TV
special, has teamed up with singer and guitarist David Fagin, leader of
the extraordinary power-pop band The Rosenbergs. David has appeared everywhere
from Howard Stern to Carson Daly to Dennis Miller, and has opened for
the Strokes, No Doubt and Duran Duran.
A night of music and comedy with special guest performers,
Good For the Jews celebrates Jewish traditions and history with
unorthodox, irreverent and-of course-HILARIOUS songs about bar mitzvahs,
Hannukah and Mel Gibson's stupidity.
